Description
Based on the outstanding and remarkable historical in George Town, there are total eight clan jetties (unique Chinese settlements) along Weld Quay, such as Chew Jetty, Koay Jetty, Lee Jetty, Lim Jetty, Peng Aun Jetty, Tan Jetty, Yeoh Jetty and Mixed Clans Jetty. The most famous clan is named as Chew Clan Jetty due to big family and the best-preserved clan. This clan is not far away from Penang ferry terminal. Chinese settlements were migrated to here and start to built their houses since 19th century. How their houses been built? Typically, this houses were built with wood or cemented beams with covered by a triangular shaped zinc roofing, extended elevated porch to allow bicycles or motorcycles to park and a couple meters width wooden walkway that extend to the sea or Penang Channel. There are a few alleys at corner site which are leading to more houses.

Film "first love of red bean ice," the viewfinder, where the simple but not simple housing, simple style, with a little nostalgic atmosphere, the older generation of residents still continue to fish for a living
