Description
Built in 1650 as the official residence of the Dutch Governor and his officers, The Stadthuys (an old Dutch spelling, meaning city hall) is a historical structure situated in the center of Malacca Town. It is an administrative capital of the state of Malacca, Malaysia.

There are another of the Dutch architecture which is the Christ Church that was built in 1753, the British colonization (Queen Victoria’s Fountain was built in 1901 ), and the Chinese settlers (Tan Beng Swee Clock Tower in honor of a generous Chinese tycoon). Dutch Square is surrounded by red painted buildings.

It look like a carnival square where you find many tourists and locals like those from other states of Malaysia, overseas tourists other than Singapore like China, Taiwan even Indonesia, European and American tourists.
